MEHANIČKA BRAVA PROTIV OTUĐIVANJA MOTORNIH VOZILA NA PRINCIPU BLOKIRANJA ISPUŠNE CIJEVI

Blokiranjem ispušne cijevi motornog vozila sprečava se zadnji takt "ispuh" pa motor ne može raditi. Uz upotrebu ove brave motor troši manje goriva i manje zagađuje okolinu. Motor se sporije hladi nakon korištenja i zaključavanja ovakvim tipom brave, a pri slijedećem startu brže postiže radnu temperaturu. U takvim okolnostima emisija štetnih plinova je manja, jer motor kraće radi na "hladno". Motor se osim toga najviše troši prilikom hladnog starta sve do postizanja radne temperature (cca 900C). Taj period može biti kraći ako se koristi mehanička brava za blokiranje ispušne cijevi, a time će se produžiti i životni vijek motora. Za motorna vozila koja stoje na otvorenom duži period ovakva brava je vrlo korisna, jer usporava proces korozije klipnih prstena, stijenki cilindara i glava ventila. Ne dolazi do takozvanog "hladnog" zavarivanja što za posljedicu može imati blokiranje motora.

Vlažan zrak ulazi kroz ispušnu cijev i otvorene ispušne ventile u cilindre motora gdje pospješuje proces korozije. Uporabom brave za hermetično zatvaranje ispušne cijevi ovaj proces je bitno smanjen. Ovaj izum koristi se prvenstveno kao brava protiv otuđivanja motornog vozila. Uz pomoć ove inovacije duže se akumulira toplina u motoru i sustavu za hlađenje što smanjuje potrošnju goriva, smanjuje zagađivanje okoline, produžuje životni vijek motoru i smanjuje troškove vlasniku motornog vozila. Mehanička brava je trajan proizvod koji se može jednostavno proizvesti. Ovakav tip brave uključuje bitna i različita poboljšanja u odnosu na ranije poznate protuprovalne uređaje na motornim vozilima.

CAR ANTI-THEFT MECHANICAL LOCK ON THE PRINCIPLE OF THE EXHAUST PIPE BLOCKING

By blocking the exhaust pipe of a motor vehicle the last stroke i.e. 'exhaust stroke' is inhibited, which proves effectual to prevent the engine from starting and running. By use of this lock the engine spends less fuel and lesser pollutes the environment. Actually, the engine cools down slower when turned off, if it is being used and locked in conjunction with this particular lock. Therefore, at the next start (even several hours later) it gets up to the operating temperature faster. Under the circumstances the harmful gas emissions are cut down by shortening the engine cold run. The engine is mostly 'spent' during the cold startup until it reaches the operating temperature (around 900C). That period can be shorter if our mechanical lock is used and, consequently, the life span of the engine will be extended.

For motor vehicles standing in open air for a longer period of time such lock would prove very useful because it slows down the process of corrosion of piston rings, cylinder walls, and valve heads. The so-called ‘cold welding’ does not take place, a phenomenon that can lead to the blocking of the engine operation. Humid air enters the exhaust pipe and the open engine cylinders where it accelerates the corrosion process. By using the lock to hermetically shut off the exhaust pipe that process is substantially reduced. This invention has been used in first place as a lock against motor vehicle theft attempts. By way of this innovation the heat accumulates inside the engine and the cooling system, which cuts down on fuel expense, reduces environmental pollution, extends the engine life span, and decreases the costs of the motor vehicle owner. This mechanical lock is a durable product that is simple to manufacture. This type of lock includes various significant improvements compared to the formerly well-known anti-burglar devices used with motor vehicles.
